Honda Models Score Top Marks in J.D. Power APEAL Awards
At Heritage Honda Bel Air, Parkville & Westminster, we feel like it’s easy to brag about the product we sell when we sell a product like Honda. Once again, several Honda models won top marks in the annual J.D. Power & Associates “Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout” (APEAL) awards.
Each year, J.D. Power asks new car owners to share their emotional attachment and excitement for their vehicles in the first 90 days of ownership. The survey takes an in-depth look at 77 different attributes of the car-owning experience, including factors like comfort level, feeling of luxury, and the sensation of power.
For 2018, two Honda models took the number one spots in their categories. The Honda Accord (Sport trim pictured top) won the Midsize Car category, and the Honda Ridgeline (pictured below) won the Midsize Pickup category for its second year in a row. Also worthy of honorable mention are both the Honda CR-V and Odyssey, which each placed in the top three spots in their respective segments of Compact SUV and Minivan.
We’d like to thank J.D. Power, but we know this one really comes down to all the awesome Honda owners out there, so thanks to all of you! If you’d like to get in on the secret (it’s no secret, it’s what we do every day) come down to the Heritage Honda Bel Air, Parkville & Westminster showroom or check out our new inventory online.
