Overview

The first-generation Honda Accord was launched in 1976 as a three-door hatchback with 68 horsepower. It’s come a long way since then, culminating in the beautiful, sophisticated sedan it is today with millions of models sold. The Accord is better than ever, offering a nearly panoramic view from the windshield and more room than previous generations.

The Perfect Ride for…

The driver who is most comfortable in time-tested design but with the latest technology options. To own a Honda Accord is to invest in a vehicle that is classic and perpetually elegant. Under the hood, the Accord offers two engine sizes for customizable power. And inside, an eight-inch touchscreen display, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and in-car Wi-Fi enhance the on-road experience for drivers and passengers.

Drive & Handling

The 192-horsepower 1.5-liter engine is standard on the base Accord, offering solid performance and an impressive fuel economy. Honda’s Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) maximizes the power and acceleration of the Accord with seamless, fluid transitions. The available 2.0-liter turbo is even more full-bodied on the Sport, EX, or Touring model, offering 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque (21 lb-ft more than its 192-horsepower sibling). If you’re a purist, either engine can be coupled with a six-speed manual transmission.

Key Features

Honda Sensing

The Honda Sensing suite is standard on every new Honda Accord, including advanced safety and driver-assistance features. On every trim level, the 2020 Honda Accord is equipped with safety systems that can help prevent or mitigate crashes, including standard rear view camera, forward-collision warnings with Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition. As options, blind-spot monitors and a head-up display are also available.

Infotainment

Honda’s intuitive, easy-to-use infotainment system stars an 8-inch display compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. In tune with customer requests, the newest version of the infotainment system incorporates a new volume knob, giving you more tactile control with very little distraction. The modern Accord also features convenient steering-wheel controls, as well as voice commands for effortless entertainment.

Accord, Your Way

The Honda Accord EX offers a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, power moonroof, remote start, heated front seats, rear-seat air vents, and keyless entry with automatic locking function. Move on up to the EX-L model to add leather seats, a 10-speaker premium audio system, power passenger seat, HomeLink universal garage remote, and auto-dimming rearview mirror. Opting for the premium Touring model adds ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, navigation, head-up display, adaptive damper suspension, rain-sensing windshield wipers, wireless phone charger, and mobile hotspot.
